Penny Stevenson is widely recognized as one of New Zealand’s leading showjumping instructors. She coaches nationally and internationally, has competed successfully at the top level of showjumping competition Penny is currently a showjumping selector for ESNZ. Now retired from competition, her primary focus is on training riders and selecting quality horses for discerning clients.

Penny’s portfolio of national and international clients is testament to her ability to produce horses of high quality. She has the proven ability to identify potential and develop horses through informed and professional training.

Many of Penny’s horses have competed with distinction in international competition, including the World Championships and the Olympic Games. Penny Stevenson has been instrumental in launching the careers of several international riders, including her own daughter Samantha McIntosh. Samantha rode for Bulgaria for several years but has now returned to ride for her kiwi homeland and she is widely regarded as one of the worlds top female show jump riders, is widely regarded as one of the world’s top female showjump riders.
